ð° The MoleCraft Times â August 23, 2026
All the news that's fit to mine.
ð ONE CHUNK, THREE CHAMPIONS
The One-Chunk City Challenge is officially over!
Great work was done by all participants, but three builders rose above the rest:
- ðĨ 1st: Morph
- ðĨ 2nd: Xitom
- ðĨ 3rd: Eric
Congratulations!
Morph walked away with two light blocks as part of his prize â which raises an important question:
What exactly is Morph going to do with them?
Meanwhile, Eric has accomplished a remarkable feat of consistency: this is his third time winning third place.
Is third place a curse? A calling? An elaborate long-term strategy?
Will the next competition finally be Eric's time to shine?
ðš RAISE THE BAR!
There is no rest for MoleCraft's builders! The next competition, "Raise the Bar," is already underway.
Players are challenged to build a watering hole of any kind.
Tavern? Pub? Saloon? Questionable roadside establishment? If it's a watering hole, it's fair game.
Builders have until August 30th to finish their entries.
The participation award is especially interesting: one NPC for the build itself!
Rumors around the server suggest that ShanBear, God of Bones, Eric, Xitom, and Nielz may all be participating.
Who will raise the bar above the rest?
ðĩïļ SERVER STALKER ON THE LOOSE
Reports have emerged of a mysterious stalker roaming MoleCraft.
Where can he be found? Anywhere.
Witnesses say he's climbing through windows and snatching your people up.
Residents are therefore advised:
- Hide your kids.
- Hide your wife.
- And hide your husbands too!
You have been warned.
ðŦ BEAN KINGDOM GROWS
The Bean Kingdom has welcomed a new member!
As one of the oldest recognized nations on the server, we're always happy to see continued growth in the Kingdom.
The MoleCraft Times congratulates the Bean Kingdom on its newest citizen.
ðïļ SULTANATE EASES CITIZENSHIP RULES
International investigation has revealed a major change in Blue Sultanate policy.
Previously, prospective citizens were required to renounce citizenship in all other nations before joining.
That requirement is no more.
The change considerably lowers the barrier to joining the Sultanate.
Some observers have suggested the Sultanate is becoming desperate to keep up with the likes of High Roost, the Theocracy, and the Bean Kingdom.
Enlightened immigration reform? Desperate international competition?
You decide.
ðĶ 500-DIAMOND DUCK HUNT
Veyren Veyrath recently placed a bounty on the infamous lame-duck war chief of High Roost: Ducky.
The bounty began at a mere 200 diamonds. Nobody succeeded. So the reward climbed to 500 diamonds. Still, Ducky remained stubbornly alive.
Then the bounty was matched by none other than the perpetual-eventual Queen of High Roost. Apparently putting an enormous bounty on your own war chief is now considered perfectly reasonable governance.
Not wanting to be left out, the Sultan continued his valiant effort to keep up with the Joneses by throwing a mighty...
30 diamonds
...into the pot. Every diamond counts.
Despite the enormous bounty, Ducky's reign of terror continued until the most powerful force on MoleCraft intervened:
Local internet problems.
Taking advantage of Ducky's unfortunate connection issues, Greyoala finally dispatched the menace and collected the bounty.
There was only one minor problem.
Greyoala is a member of High Roost. Ducky is High Roost's war chief. Ducky is sworn to protect Greyoala.
Greyoala collected hundreds of diamonds for killing Ducky.
International politics remains perfectly normal.
ðĪ PEACE TALKS FAIL â Again.
Another week of peace talks has passed, and once again High Roost and the Blue Sultanate have failed to reach an agreement.
Rumor has it that another battle is coming.
When? We don't know. Where? We don't know.
But until then, the conflict continues through somewhat less conventional means. Members of the High Roost coalition will continue to get sandbagged. The Blue Sultanate will continue discovering aquariums built throughout its cities. And the rest of MoleCraft will continue watching with great interest.
ð THE WEEK AHEAD
All eyes now turn toward August 30th and the conclusion of Raise the Bar.
Meanwhile, international tensions remain unresolved, Ducky has learned that neither enormous bounties nor his own citizens can be trusted, and somewhere out there...
The stalker is still watching.
Stay informed. Stay suspicious. Lock your windows.
